The main wish of the customers was to create a stylish interior that never goes out of style. That is why we decided to take minimalism as a basis, but add elements of the Art Deco style to it. Thus, we have obtained a design filled with elegance and refined simplicity. As for the choice of color, the main idea was the choice in favor of a calm scale and the rejection of flashy, too active shades. However, in order to give the interior character, to avoid monotony, we decided to add pronounced textures, shine of metal and some interesting details to it. Kitchen-dining room The owner of the apartment did not want the kitchen space to look exactly like an ordinary kitchen, she rather needed a dining room for gala receptions. Therefore, we had to think about where and how to hide the usual kitchen utensils, kettle, pots. They tried to disguise the kitchen set under a storage system, decorated in a laconic style. At the same time, it was important to maintain functionality and comfort. The facades of the kitchen furniture have a soft shade of coffee with milk, and the glossy finish sets a solemn mood. Another wish was to arrange a dining table and an island in the kitchen, where it would be convenient to have a quick snack. In the kitchen island, you have placed an oven that is completely invisible when you enter the room. Sandstone and dark gray stone was used for the countertop, which creates the necessary contrast. The dining table with chrome legs and a glass top looks very solemn, but at the same time light and modern. A luxurious crystal chandelier completes the composition. Living room In the interior of the living room, it was important to create an atmosphere of tranquility and comfort, because it was planned as a place where you can sit by the fireplace, read a book or have a chat. Interior accents are lamellas with black sconces, a fireplace portal finished with glossy stone in a warm shade, and an Art Deco-style shelving unit. For the finishing of the floor, we used porcelain stoneware with a glossy texture, the dark edging imitates the outline of the carpet. The bedroom The bedroom interior, like all the other rooms in this apartment, is made in warm beige and chocolate shades. Light-colored wallpaper was chosen for the walls, and the headboard area was highlighted with graphic wallpaper inserts and vertical brass inserts. On the floor there is soft brown panel parquet. There are pendant lights on both sides of the bed, but we positioned them asymmetrically to add dynamics to the interior. There is a passage from the bedroom to the master’s bathroom, but one of the customer’s wishes was to arrange the passage in an unusual way. Therefore, we made the door leaf mirrored, and the platband – in the form of a baguette frame. It was decided to abandon the chandelier as a central source of lighting; instead, the bedroom is illuminated by spots on the track system. The ceiling is decorated with an Art Deco rosette. Bathroom When developing the interior of the bathroom, we were faced with the task of placing in it a free-standing bath, which the owner of the apartment had long dreamed of. The entire room is tiled with light gray slate-textured tiles. Tiles in a darker shade with a pronounced relief texture serve as accents. The insert where the bathtub stands is highlighted with vertical stripes. However, the most striking dominant of the bathroom interior is a large semicircular mirror with illumination along the contour. Bathroom The interior of the guest bathroom is made in a modern style, the color palette is laconic. We chose a soft sandy shade as the base, but added different tile textures. In a relatively small area of the room, we managed to place a sink, toilet and shower. Hallway Customers wanted the hallway to be spacious, open and front. It was undesirable to erect a wall between the dining room and the hallway, so it was decided to make a portal made of columns. We finished them with dark marble and light steel elements. It is the combination of monumental columns and light metal that sets a special, solemn tone to the entire interior. At the entrance, we placed a panel of four mirrors with a geometric pattern, which also adds decorativeness.
